Le Mont Blanc à ski mai 2010

23rd, 24th. of  mai 2010, Pentecost Week end ,  great day on the Alps.

After 15 days non stop raining, two meters deep of fresh snow at 3000 , weather start to be better....

We were waiting the first brave to track the Three Mont Blanc traverse, well done on the saturday 22nd...

Sunday 23rd., wake up at one in the night and start in the headlamp light for Regis and his favourite guide. No problem and slow ascent, however a bit difficult and challenging for our fresly landed parisian.... The acclimatisation/preparation day has not been too much!!! 

Victory at top around ten! . Fantastic descent in the North Face Nord left hand side (steep): the right one is a bump field framed by two very impressive and huge seracs fall ...

The snow spring is still good on the Junction Glacier: we can  fresh track on 5cm. defroze snow.

13 o'clock at Plan de l'Aiguille station: well done, conct has been respected!
